Can you bring a car from Mykonos to Syros by ferry?
Yes, you can bring a car on the ferry, but only with conventional ferry services like Blue Star Ferries and Fast Ferries. High-speed ferries generally do not accommodate vehicles.
It’s best to book a car ticket in advance as spaces are often limited, especially between June and September. Be aware that you have to book a ticket for the car and a separate one for the people traveling in the car.

How to get to Mykonos Port
Mykonos has two ports, the Old Port and the New Port in Tourlos. All passenger ferries (and cruise ships) arrive and leave from Tourlos Port, including the ferry from Mykonos to Syros.
The New Port is located 3 km from Mykonos Town and 5 km from the airport. To get to the port, you will need transportation.
- From Mykonos Town to Tourlos Port:

If you are staying in Ermoupoli, you can also walk to your accommodation if you don’t have a lot of luggage and are staying close to the port. Ermoupoli has plenty of things to do and also has many cafes, restaurants, and shops if you want to start exploring immediately.

- Public buses: a well-connected network links Ermoupoli to popular areas like Ano Syros, Galissas, and Finikas. There even is a free bus running in Ermoupoli. Be aware that the operating times depend on the season, and in winter there are fewer busses.
